Xuzhuang sub-district in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone organized a series of activities to welcome the New Year, creating a festive atmosphere and enveloping the zone in warmth and happiness.

During a DIY session, volunteers, seated around tables, carefully trimmed natural plants and simulated materials, which were arranged in layers and embellished with elegance into festive decors.
A cultural performance was also staged, featuring a diverse repertoire that included songs, operas, sketches, and folk shows. The audience was fully immersed in the joyful celebration.
Partnering with Xuzhuang Kindergarten, the sub-district offered intangible cultural heritage experiences. Traditional food-making activities such as sugar painting and cotton candy making, along with handicraft sessions like paper-cutting and writing Chinese characters for good fortune, stimulated children's creativity. Folk games like dragon and lion dances enabled children to feel the charm of traditional customs.
The event offered a chance for residents of Xuzhuang sub-district to interact and experience traditional culture and the lively festive ambiance.
