As Chinese New Year approaches, Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone has been organizing a series of activities to get local residents into the holiday spirit.
During a calligraphy-themed event, calligraphy enthusiasts, volunteers, and resident representatives gathered to write Spring Festival couplets and the Chinese character "Fu" (fortune), expressing best wishes through their brushstrokes. The completed "Fu" characters and couplets were given away to residents for free.

A cultural lecture on the Laba Festival was also held, during which a speaker used vivid anecdotes and simple explanations to describe the origins, traditional customs, and food culture associated with the festival. After the lecture, volunteers distributed pre-prepared Laba porridge to elderly residents living alone in the village.
Moving forward, Taizhou EDZ aims to continue focusing on addressing the urgent needs and concerns of the community, providing more services and cultural activities for residents.
