Eight companies based in the Taizhou Port Economic Development Zone in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, have been included to the list of provincial-level advanced intelligent factories in 2026, as released by the Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu.
The newly added companies include the intelligent embroidery thread factory based on full process digitization from Taizhou Millennium Textile Technology, and the micro efficient generator intelligent factory based on the digital collaboration of process design of Senci Electric Machinery.

Advanced-level intelligent factories are the core benchmark for measuring the effectiveness of digital and intelligent transformation in the manufacturing industry in the province.
The selection criteria are strict, with high standards for enterprise automation production lines, industrial software integration, full process digital control, and other areas.
In recent years, the zone has regularly carried out digital diagnosis, application guidance and resource matchmaking services for enterprises,.
It has also guided local businesses to ramp up their investment in intelligent equipment and industrial Internet, and promoted the transition from traditional to intelligent manufacturing.
At present, the zone is home to 19 advanced-level intelligent factories.
