The prefecture-level city of Taizhou in Jiangsu province celebrated its 30th anniversary of establishment on Aug 12. The city held a high-level talent high-quality development conference, which reviewed its 30-year journey of hard work and focused on showcasing the achievements of the deep integration of industry and talent.
This city has always insisted on putting talent at the top, respecting, embracing and cherishing it with sincerity and practical measures.
In 2020, Taizhou officially included "building a youth and talent friendly city" in the government work report.
The "Taizhou Day" campaign, established in 2022, has become the key project for talent and intelligence recruitment in Taizhou. In the past four years, the city has entered into partnerships with 141 universities to attract talent, injecting a continuous stream of talent momentum into the construction of its modern industrial system.

In the same year, Taizhou was approved as one of the first pilot cities for youth development in Jiangsu province, accelerating the construction of a youth and talent friendly city and building a robust talent development ecosystem.
In 2024, Taizhou was awarded the title of China's Best Talent Attraction City and has been listed among the top 50 most attractive cities for post-95s talents in China for four consecutive years.
In recent years, Taizhou has iterated its talent policies through repeated updates and built the talent policy system with a structured approach, offering support from academicians to junior college students, from job interviews to renting and buying houses and innovation and entrepreneurship.
