The central part of Xinghua, a county level city administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu, will cover the Xinghua Economic Development Zone and Zhaoyang sub-district, including Xingdong town as well as the sub-districts of Lincheng and Duotian. It will serve as a key economic engine focusing on the integrated development of the service and manufacturing industries.
The northwestern part of the city will play a key role in boosting the integration of agriculture and tourism, concentrating on ecological fishing, tourism and other agriculture sectors. It will be built according to the provincial tourist resort standards.
The northeastern part will highlight the integrated functions of the cultivation, trade and logistical operations of special aquaculture, with Anfeng town as an important sub-city center and an area designated for future development among small cities, which will influence other towns in the area.
The southeastern part of the city will prioritize the development of the manufacturing industry to enhance production efficiency and accelerate the development of industrial clusters. With Dainan town as the center, it will include Dainan, Daduo, Diduo, Zhouzhuang and Chenbao towns.
