The 2023 Xinghua Half Marathon will kick off in Xinghua city – administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province – on Nov 12. It is expected to attract over 3,700 half-marathon runners and more than 2,900 fun run participants.
Runners can enjoy picturesque views of Qianduo Road, one of the ten most beautiful rural roads in China, as they compete.
As a landscape avenue surrounded by water, the road connects the city's urban area to the Qianduo scenic area.
To facilitate contestants' travel needs, 20 10-meter-level buses are being provided to offer free shuttle services.
The roads around the race’s starting point – Wujindang Bridge – will be subject to traffic control in advance. As such, it is recommended that the contestants arrive at the starting point at least one hour in advance.
Moreover, 425 volunteers from government departments, schools, and caring organizations will join the competition to offer their services.
