The Industry and Information Technology Department of Jiangsu recently announced the list of provincial-level enterprise technology centers for 2024, with nine enterprises from Xinghua city, East China's Jiangsu province, making the grade.
The term "enterprise technology centers" refers to tech research and innovation institutions established by businesses, based on market competition needs and development strategic planning. They serve as the main carrier for improving the independent innovation capability of enterprises.
In recent years, Xinghua has encouraged eligible companies to strive for the establishment of the centers at all levels.
Currently, Xinghua is home to one national-level enterprise technology center, 44 provincial-level centers and 119 centers at the municipal level.
Moving forwards, plans are for the city to increase efforts to nurture enterprise technology centers, strengthen policy support for enterprise innovation and development, as well as enhance service guidance.
