With the first batch of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects in Xinghua city, Jiangsu province, being connected to the grid, the sunshine source continues to be transformed into clean electricity, injecting new momentum into township development, enterprises' cost reduction, and ecological transformation.
The 30 projects recently connected to the grid are mainly located on the roofs of factories in the city's Zhuhong, Shenlun, and Zhongbao towns. The centralized grid-connected enterprise photovoltaic project in the three towns is projected to save nearly 2 million yuan ($278,560) in electricity bills annually for enterprises.

Enterprises can directly benefit from roof leasing, electricity fee reductions, and more.
The projects belong to the first batch of distributed photovoltaic power generation projects of State-owned Xinghua Green Energy, who has reinforced the roof facilities of cooperative factories to ensure that they meet the design service life requirement of 25 years for photovoltaic facilities.
The second batch of projects will be launched in more than 10 townships, with construction bidding to end in June. This will spread the benefits of green energy to a wider region.
Moreover, Xinghua is actively building a green electricity and green certificate system. The green electricity and green certificate service point established at the end of last year can provide enterprises with services from policy consultation to transaction guidance, helping local enterprises expand international markets based on the advantages of green energy.
