The Xinghua Center of Materials Academy at the Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute (JITRI), located in Dainan town of Xinghua city, Jiangsu province, started operations on March 13 and has already reaped impressive results.
Co-developed by the Materials Academy at JITRI, Taizhou Industrial Technology Research Institute, and Xinghua, the Xinghua center focuses on areas such as high-end stainless steel, biomedical materials, high-temperature alloys, and titanium alloys, committed to building a new research and development institution that integrates technology R&D, the transformation of research achievements into real-world applications, and enterprise services.
Leveraging the technical advantages of the Materials Academy at JITRI, the Xinghua center has established an interdisciplinary innovation team, focusing on R&D of high-end stainless steel and the preparation of special alloys.
It has also established a collaborative mechanism with national research institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences to build an innovative ecosystem that integrates industry, academia, research, and application.
Since it started operation, the Xinghua center has arranged 37 experts to visit 34 key enterprises, sorted out 38 technical requirements, and offered tailored technical support.
In addition, the Xinghua center has actively moved to promote industry-university-research cooperation, the nurturing of engineering and technical talent, and deeper cooperation with universities.
