Three new provincial-level major projects emerge in Xinghua

Three new projects in Xinghua, East China's Jiangsu province, were recently added to the list of provincial-level major projects for 2025. 

With the addition of the four major provincial projects selected at the start of the year, the total number of major provincial projects in the city this year has reached seven, the best record in history.

Among the three newly recognized projects, the first is a high-end special alloy new material production project operated by Jiangsu Shenyuan Group.

With an investment of 5.8 billion yuan ($816.20 million), the project plans to build a high-end special alloy equipment automation production line, which already started construction in June.

The second project is the annual production of 30 million square meters of special functional new-type medical film materials operated by Jiangsu Best New Medical Materials.

The project, costing 520 million yuan, will include a specialized facility for producing new types of medical film and will install a variety of research and development production equipment and intelligent warehousing systems. Construction started in June.

With an investment of 5.28 billion yuan, the third project is the Hehai electronic component technology intelligent manufacturing project, to be settled in Xinghua's Dainan town.

The project is funded by Oubang Motor, an electromechanical automation enterprise that integrates research and development, manufacturing, and sales of motor drives, micro motors, and precision reducers, as well as related services.
