The construction of the Haoxianglai Leisure Food Industrial Park commenced in Xinghua, Jiangsu province, on Nov 26. The project, funded and built by Xinghua-based Jiangsu Jindelai Food Technology, is expected to receive a total investment of 5.58 billion yuan ($788 million) and be developed in two phases.
The first phase receives an investment of 2.08 billion yuan and aims to establish a standardized and large-scale production system. This initiative is expected to drive the coordinated development of supporting industries such as raw material processing, packaging design, and cold chain logistics, thereby constructing a comprehensive green leisure food industrial ecosystem.
Moving forward, Xinghua will leverage the industrial park to further extend the industrial chain and strengthen industrial clusters. The city plans to continuously support food enterprises in achieving leapfrog development and strives to establish itself as a national hub for healthy food industries.
