Xinghua, a county-level city in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has achieved a milestone, with five enterprises securing national-level green factory certifications in 2025. This marks a new record and accounts for one-third of Taizhou's total.
The certified companies — Jiangsu New Hongda Group, Jiangsu Minglu Special Steel Group, Jiangsu Winner Machinery, Kerisom Food Biotechnology (Jiangsu), and Jiangsu Teweinong Foods — exemplify sustainable manufacturing through land efficiency, non-toxic raw materials, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy use.
This achievement underscores Xinghua's commitment to green industrialization during China's 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25). Since 2021, the city has added nine national-level green factories and 42 provincial ones, with the Xinghua Economic Development Zone and Xinghua High-tech Zone earning provincial and national green park titles, respectively.
