Technological innovation is propelling increased investments and project expansions in Dainan town, Xinghua, Jiangsu province.

In May, the groundbreaking ceremony for Jiangsu New Hongda Group's mining intelligent equipment manufacturing project, with a total investment of 5.20 billion yuan ($765.20 million), marked a significant milestone. Simultaneously, in the advanced workshop of Jiangsu Xingda Steel Tyre Cord, high-strength steel wires, as fine as hair, were being produced continuously.

These developments highlight the transformation of this "town of stainless steel in China" from "selling raw materials by the metric ton" to "selling technology by the gram".

Xingda leads in setting international and national standards, embedding over 200 patents into these frameworks and integrating into the global high-end supply chain. Companies like Taizhou Qiangda Stainless Steel Wire Rope and Jiangsu Yasheng Metal Products are actively involved in drafting industry and national standards. They are progressing toward ISO international standards, embedding Dainan's manufacturing expertise into niche industrial chains.

With a clear vision, Dainan Town is poised for growth. Over the next three years, capitalizing on its trillion yuan stainless steel industrial cluster, it plans to fully engage in three emerging sectors: precision materials for aerospace, high-end semiconductor equipment, and core components for new energy.

By 2028, Dainan aims to cultivate over 10 national-level "little giant" enterprises specializing in niche markets, establishing itself as a major national hub for special alloy materials and intelligent equipment manufacturing.
