The 2026 Xinghua Duanwu Dragon Boat Race took place at the Taizhou Water Sports Training Base in Chenbao town, Xinghua, a county-level city of Taizhou, on June 22, to celebrate this year's Dragon Boat Festival.

Sixteen local teams vied for the top spot, with the Xinghua Development Zone squad ultimately claiming the gold medal.
Since its inception in 2008, the annual event has now run for 18 consecutive years, cementing its status as Xinghua's most iconic cultural tradition.
Between races, spectators were treated to dazzling water performances, including a folk song rendition and thrilling displays by the Taizhou Rowing Team, featuring jet ski formations, kart boat stunts, and flyboarders executing aerial flips.
