Covering over 200 mu (13.33 hectares), the Mingping Orchard is expected to yield more than 500 metric tons of peaches in 2026. The first 25 tons have already hit the market in cities like Yangzhou, Suzhou, and Shanghai.

The orchard grows multiple varieties that ripen at different times, extending the harvest from early July to early August. All peaches are grown with organic fertilizers, with each Xiacui variety averaging 350 grams and flat peach 400 g.

To ensure freshness, the peaches are pre-cooled to between 0 and 4 degrees Celsius in a cold-storage room before cold-chain delivery to East China markets.

Besides wholesale orders, the orchard offers pick-your-own fruit at the same price. It employs 12 local residents, helping boost their earnings. Located next to Banqiao Cultural Park, the orchard has become a popular getaway for city visitors.
