The 2026 Xinghua Marathon opened registration on July 13, with the race set for 7:30 am on Oct 18 in Xinghua, Jiangsu province.

About 10,000 runners are expected to take part in the race, with 3,000 for the 42.195-kilometer full marathon and 7,000 for the 21.0975-km half marathon.
The starting point is Lianxi Lake Park and the destination is the tourist center in the Qianduo Scenic Area.
The route passes through landmarks including Zhaoyang Lake Park, Bazi Bridge, the Jindongmen historic block, and the Zhuangyuan Archway.
It then winds through the duotian, or raised-field landscapes, offering participants sweeping views of waterways and rapeseed fields.
Runners are invited to sample local specialties such as crab roe buns, garlic crayfish, and Shagou fish balls.
