The project is backed by a total investment of 500 million yuan ($74.52 million) from Jiangsu Hengjianxin Special Steel, part of Jiangsu Yuanyuan Special Steel, a national high-tech enterprise. The facility will cover about 50 mu (3.3 hectares) and will include 80,000 square meters of factory space.

Once operational, the project is expected to have an annual production capacity of 50,000 metric tons of high-straightness ultra-precision alloy shafts. These products will be used in various applications, including semiconductor equipment, defense, automotive parts, medical devices and liquid-cooling components for computing centers.

In addition, the project aims to develop proprietary processes for preparing special alloys and a nanoscale precision machining system. The shafts produced are projected with 20 times greater precision than conventional shafts, generating an additional 600 million yuan in annual sales.
