Jiangsu Realline Biotechnology, located in China Medical City, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has been the guardian of equipment for local biopharmaceutical enterprises.
Not long ago, an emergency repair call entered the maintenance backend of Realline. At that time, a batch of preprocessed key biological samples from Jiangsu Cowin Biotech, a company engaged in the research and production of high value-added and high-tech biological reagents in Taizhou, could not be tested on the machine, and the research and development experiments were forced to be halted.
The storage window for biopharmaceutical samples is extremely short, and every second delay may result in a large amount of experimental investment being wasted in the early stage. Realline responded quickly within 10 minutes and arrived at the site with spare parts within 20 minutes. In less than an hour, the precision instrument resumed operation.
"Our service principle has always been to respond within 10 minutes, arrive within 30 minutes, and be on standby 24 hours a day," said Ye Jian, general manager of Realline.
Ye added that since the settlement in 2020, Realline's business has covered more than 80 percent of the enterprises and institutions in the China Medical City.
In the early stages of entrepreneurship, Ye mainly engaged in instrument trading. He later identified the pain points in the field of laboratory maintenance: high-end instruments rely on original factory repairs for a long time, which not only entail long cycles and high costs but also frequent industry chaos, such as minor illnesses undergoing major repairs.
He then invested tens of millions of yuan to build a team, gathering more than 30 senior engineers from across the country, with technical coverage of over a hundred mainstream models to provide on-site maintenance services.
Looking ahead, Realline will expand its service coverage into industrial robots and civilian intelligent equipment maintenance, further strengthening its core competitiveness.
