In recent years, Baima town in Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has vigorously revitalized idle factories and inefficient land use, achieving spatial reconstruction and industrial revitalization.

While deeply cultivating the foundation of traditional industries, the town insists on introducing high-quality new projects.

At Taizhou UML Machinery Technology, more than 20 production lines keep running around the clock at the company's 5,000-square-meter modern factory. Half a year ago, this place was still a deserted and unused factory building.

Previously, the production capacity of the company's old factory area in Taizhou's Jiangyan has already reached saturation.

"After visiting Baima town, we found this place, which was originally a sports equipment factory. It was a spacious structure that matched the height of the production line and there was no need for large-scale renovation. Moreover, the equipment could be put into operation immediately upon arrival," said Chen Hua, head of the company.

Chen added that it only took one day from inspection to signing the contract, and the overall relocation was completed within 15 days.

Orders of the company have now been arranged until 2027, showing highly promising market prospects.

Baima town has offered tailored on-site services to help enterprises solve developmental challenges. Since last year, the town has revitalized nearly 50,000 sq m of idle land and introduced four high-quality enterprises.
