From January to September, Taizhou International Container Terminal, located in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, completed a cumulative container throughput of 337,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), a year-on-year increase of 25.5 percent.
The monthly container volume reached a new high, with a container throughput of 45,200 TEUs in September.
Since September, the number of ships arriving at the terminal has significantly increased, leading to intensive operations and increased scheduling pressure. The terminal has coordinated and deployed in advance, focused on production organization, safety assurance, equipment operation and maintenance, customer service and other key tasks. It has also continuously optimized operation processes and improved turnover efficiency.
