A dedicated branch of Jiangsu Normal University's Technology Transfer Center was officially inaugurated at Hailing High-tech Industrial Development Zone on June 26, following a tripartite signing ceremony between the university, Hailing High-tech Zone, and Taizhou Haineng Holdings Group.
Attended by Dong Xiaochen, vice-president of Jiangsu Normal University, and Xia Aidong, head of Hailing district, the event marked the launch of in-depth collaboration on the commercialization of scientific achievements and industrial upgrading.
Tailored to the local industrial development demands of Hailing High-tech Zone, the new hub will leverage the university's strong disciplinary research strengths and talent pools to build a standardized, specialized, market-oriented university-local enterprise collaborative innovation platform.
It will cover core functions, including technology licensing, conversion of research achievements, industry-university-research matchmaking, talent cultivation, startup incubation, technical services, and industrial empowerment, to deliver solid support for the zone's sci-tech innovation, enterprise efficiency improvement, and industrial chain optimization.
