Jiangyan district came alive during the Spring Festival holiday, offering a vibrant blend of traditional celebrations, cultural experiences, and festive tranquility.

The historic Beihou Street and Liujiaqiao Lane became popular photo spots, thanks to the vibrant horse patterns, auspicious blessings, and poetic banners overhead. Tourists flocked here to capture the essence of the festival.

Parks and scenic spots were equally bustling. The Qinhu Lake scenic area, People Park, Tianmu Mountain Sightseeing Park, and Qintong Ancient Town were teeming with visitors. At Qinhu, dragon and lion dances welcomed guests with their majestic displays. At the same time, the intangible cultural heritage market here offered a glimpse into China's rich traditions, even attracting international students eager to experience Chinese New Year.

No festival is complete without delicious food. From tanghulu (sugared hawthorns on a stick) to milk tea, every bite brought sweetness to the heart. However, it was local specialties like thin, crispy cakes and fish balls that truly evoke a sense of homesickness with their authentic flavors.

Amid the hustle and bustle, there was also a serene side to the holiday. Many residents chose to spend their time at museums and libraries, enriching themselves with knowledge and enjoying the unique tranquility of the festive season.

As night fell, the streets of the city shimmered with lights, while the countryside was equally dazzling. In Dalun town's Zhuxuan village, fireworks lit up the night sky, heightening the festive atmosphere.
