Spring has arrived at Jiangyan Qinhu Lake National Wetland Park, and the local milu deer has entered its breeding season.
Newborn calves are delicate and require close attention. To ensure their healthy development, park staff have stepped up patrols, conducting checks roughly every hour, according to a breeder.
In recent years, the ecological environment of Qinhu Lake wetland has continued to improve, contributing to a steady growth in the milu deer population. Currently, the wetland is home to around 160 milu deer.
