Free trade agreements such as RCEP (Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership) have continued to reduce tariffs, helping enterprises in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, gain a foothold in international markets.
From January to February, Jingjiang Customs issued 504 certificates of origin, with visa amounts exceeding $57 million, a year-on-year increase of 20.78 percent. Qualifying enterprises can obtain import country tariff reductions of about $2.85 million.
The certificate of origin issued by Jingjiang Customs involves products such as steel components, steel cylinders, pesticides, automotive parts, and textiles.
To maximize the benefits of these policies, Jingjiang Customs provides on-site briefings and timely updates on tariff arrangements under RCEP and other agreements, helping companies make full use of available reductions.
