Jiangsu Sanjiang Electric Group in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, is conducting lifespan verification on specialized motor samples for exoskeleton robots, as it prepares to gradually start mass production next month.
Exoskeleton robots are used in various scenarios, such as helping stroke patients and the elderly to stand and walk as well as transporting heavy objects.
The motor is regarded as the heart of these robots. At the end of last year, Sanjiang relied on its rich experience in the development of micro motors and cooperation with computing research and development institutions to develop supporting motors for exoskeleton robot manufacturers.

The motor developed by the company is lightweight, highly precise and responsive, and quiet.
In addition, Sanjiang is exploring the robot market and intensifying its R&D project on motors for various parts of embodied robots.
In the future, Sanjiang plans to increase the production proportion of motors for new energy vehicles, robots, and other new fields to around 70 percent.
