COFCO Jingjiang Port, a major national grain logistics system construction project jointly implemented by COFCO Trading, Jiangsu Agribusiness Group, and the city of Jingjiang in Jiangsu province, commenced trial operations on May 8, further enhancing the city's pivotal role in China's grain circulation system.
The port integrates warehousing, logistics, trading, management, finance, and quality inspection, focusing on core functions such as bulk grain trading, sorting and quality inspection, grain delivery, technological innovation, and intelligent and green development. Its operating varieties include major grains such as corn, wheat, rice, and soybeans.
It is committed to building a comprehensive grain service terminal with complete functions and leading capabilities in the Yangtze River Basin.

By utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as a digital twin platform, a comprehensive port production scheduling system, and intelligent berthing control, the port has modernized its grain loading and unloading operations. At present, its maximum daily unloading capacity can reach 50,000 metric tons.
Thanks to its strategic location and logistics advantages, Jingjiang has become the largest wheat distribution center in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and a key grain distribution center in East China. Following the port's operational launch, the annual grain throughput is expected to reach 13 million tons.
In addition, by relying on COFCO's global grain sourcing capabilities and its full industry chain advantages, Jingjiang will ensure a consistent, stable, and high-quality supply of large-scale raw grains for food processing and feed production enterprises nationwide.
