The "Taizhou Gravity · Green Chain Future" energy-saving and environmental protection industry chain special event took place in the Taixing High-tech Zone, Taixing, a county-level city administered by Taizhou, on Aug 17.
Liu Yuxuan, an official of Taizhou, said that in recent years, Taizhou has been committed to building its characteristic industrial system, with the energy-saving and environmental protection industry as one of the highlights. The industry has brought together more than 280 chain enterprises and generated output of 55.2 billion yuan ($8.21 billion) in 2025.
He added that he sincerely looks forward to more high-quality projects, scientific and technological innovation teams, and industrial capital gathering and rooting in Taizhou through the opportunity of the event.
The event also held a centralized signing ceremony for four energy-saving and environmental protection industry projects.
They included the annual production of 2,000 units of environmental protection equipment project, the high-efficiency energy-saving temperature control and ventilation system technological transformation project, the high-efficiency new air heat recovery and low-carbon ventilation equipment technological transformation project, and the new generation graphene molecular sieve adsorption desorption integrated machine industrial waste gas treatment demonstration application project.
Before the event, attendees conducted on-site inspections of enterprises in the Taixing zone, such as Jiangsu Nanji Machinery and Yatai Pump & Valve, to explore technological innovation achievements and the vitality of industrial development in the area's energy saving and environmental protection industry.
