China Medical City, located in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province, has adhered to the path of technological innovation and many resident companies are accelerating the pace of this to commercialize their innovative achievements.
Since settling in the province, Qyuns Therapeutics has promoted the development of almost 10 new antibody drugs.
Taking innovation as the core driver, the company has created a pipeline of products dealing with the skin, rheumatism, digestion and respiration, as well as a complete industrial chain integrating research and development, clinical trials, production, and commerce.

Another resident company, Wisdom Biotechnology, specializes in human vaccines. It has developed three vaccines for human infectious diseases in just two years since settling in Taizhou.
The company's core platforms and support from the vaccine engineering center are said to add impetus to its research and development.
"By utilizing the public resources of the vaccine engineering center, such as its ultra high-speed centrifuges and processed water, the company has relieved a lot of the financial investment pressure, allowing it to focus more on vaccine development," said the company's R&D department manager.
China Medical City has established more than 20 public technology service platforms and six innovation research institutes. Moreover, over 2,100 innovative medical achievements have emerged from there.
