In recent years, Hailing has moved to promote its nationwide reading project. It has held the reading festival five consecutive years, carried out selections of outstanding bookstores, and created a 15-minute service circle for public reading.
Hailing's public reading index has remained in the province's top tier for many years, and it was honored as a demonstration area in building reading areas for the current year.
Hailing will conduct more than 1,000 reading activities this year, and it released 10 key public reading activities during the opening ceremony.
