As the first industrial park in Jingjiang, it's positioned itself as a high-end industrial cluster serving four major sectors – automotive parts, high-end equipment, metal products and micro electric motors.
In recent years, the park has increasingly become a magnet for investment projects – to leverage its industrial foundations, extend and strengthen industry supply chains and further consolidate high-quality growth.
It was recently announced that a group of new projects, costing 4.28 billion yuan ($536 million), will settle there. They'll cover a variety of emerging sectors – including new energy engineering machinery and its core components, evaporation systems, high-end water purification equipment, automotive parts and biotechnology.
Statistics showed that 32 previously announced projects brought 5.31 billion yuan in investment to the park last year, including some large foreign-funded ones.
According to a local administration official, moving forwards the industrial park will spare no effort in promoting major projects, forging industrial resilience and moving to turn it into a top equipment manufacturing base and a pilot area for digital empowerment and transformation.
