Jiangsu Guoxin Jingjiang Power Generation, settled in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, has adopted AI-powered technologies to respond to the upcoming summer electricity peak.
At the company's booster station, an all-terrain, intelligent inspection robotic dog can be seen shuttling back and forth in the scorching sun.
The robotic dog integrates infrared thermal imaging, high-definition visual recognition, gas sensing, and other technologies, especially in harsh environments such as high temperatures, humidity, and dust, enabling it to replace manual 24-hour monitoring and to facilitate rapid disposal.

It can also automatically identify early defects such as equipment heating, insulation aging, and loose joints, with a warning accuracy rate of over 90 percent.
At the company's centralized control room, a robot works with colleagues to monitor the operational status of each generator set.
The robot can not only monitor the generator set's operational status in real time but also connect to the company's intelligent monitoring system. It can predict potential equipment failures, economic parameter deviations, and other issues using AI algorithms, thereby providing timely feedback on changes in safety parameters to the duty officer.
