The Jingjiang Northern Industrial Park – situated in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is making every effort to drive forwards its high-quality growth through the developments of major projects.

Party chief and park head Li Huabing said the focus of the park will be to upgrade traditional industries, expand emerging businesses and gain a first-mover advantage in future sectors.
Li added that plans were in motion for the park to prioritize the development of projects involving targeted industries: electronics new materials, automotive components, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, as well as electric motors and appliances.
Moreover, the park would intensify its efforts to attract more investment projects and improve industry supply chains with the support of local business leaders and the chambers of commerce.
Innovative measures would be taken to further expand its investment coverage in China and abroad, he added.
To help matters along, a specialized task force has been set up to offer tailored assistance, such as consultations and one-on-one instruction, for candidate little giant firms in the park. Little giant firms are basically innovative SMEs that own proprietary core technologies in niche sectors and exhibit great market potential.
Adding to the impetus, more incentive policies have been rolled out at the park to encourage cooperation between high-tech enterprises and research institutes.
Additionally, the park plans to develop a group of benchmark and gazelle enterprises – young, fast-growing and innovation-driven firms that are often found in the technology industry – and cultivate more specialized, refined and innovative enterprises in segmented markets.
