Twenty-five enterprises from Jingjiang, a county-level city in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, participated in the ongoing 136th China Import and Export Fair, or Canton Fair, held in Guangzhou from Oct 15 to Nov 4.
The Canton Fair is scheduled to occur in three distinct phases. In the first phase, 12 Jingjiang enterprises have reported an intended transaction amount of $6.8 million.
Among them, Jiangsu Shangqi Group Corp, located in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, introduced the static hydraulic telescopic arm forklift truck, which has obtained multiple international certifications, and was the first to launch a 2.5-metric-ton model in China.
Shangqi Group has secured five orders and expanded the North American market, achieving an intended transaction amount of $800,000.
Jiangsu GMO Hi-Tech Corp focused on showcasing the new-generation R290 refrigerant heat pump water heater at the Canton Fair, which boasts an energy-saving rate of up to 80 percent and an STC value of 34.
GMO engaged with approximately 200 companies at the fair, achieving considerable success in the Australian market, with a total intended transaction amount of $2 million.
Jiangsu Huaji Machinery Manufacturing Corp, located in the Chengnan Industrial Park of Jingjiang ETDZ, showcased its fully automatic feeding riveting machine at the fair, paired with industrial-grade pneumatic riveting guns, which improved work efficiency by 160 percent, and the intended transaction amount reached $780,000.
