Since the beginning of this year, the Chengnan Industrial Park, located in Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has focused on key projects and promoted industrial upgrades.
The park has been advancing the upgrading of traditional industries, fostering emerging industries, and planning for future industries with foresight.
Relying on the new energy vehicle parts and high-end equipment manufacturing industries, it attracts more high-tech and high-potential enterprises to settle in the park through industrial chain and cluster-based investment promotion.
Since the beginning of this year, 25 projects with investments exceeding 100 million yuan ($14.02 million) have been signed, with a total investment of 8.83 billion yuan. At the same time, the park has also been improving its services to ensure that the projects commence on schedule.
From January to August, industrial enterprises above the designated size achieved a total industrial output value of 16.37 billion yuan and fixed asset investment of 2.26 billion yuan.
In addition, five companies in the park were recognized as provincial-level specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, and 133 new invention patents were granted.
