Jiangsu Duokai Power Machinery Co Ltd, located in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has been in full production recently, setting a strong start for the year.
Specializing in researching and producing core components for large marine diesel engines, this technology-driven enterprise is dedicated to integrating "Made in Jingjiang" elements into the global shipbuilding industry.
Since its establishment, the company has consistently prioritized technology advancement and product innovation.
In June 2024, Duokai Power inked a cooperative production agreement with Germany's MAN for low-speed diesel engines, marking a significant shift from component production to the manufacturing of complete finished products.
This year, the company's orders for MAN's leading diesel engine are expected to exceed 600 million yuan ($82.78 million), with the first such engine set to debut in May. From June onward, it is anticipated that three to four main engines will be delivered monthly.
Furthermore, according to an official of Duokai Power, the company's diesel engine component manufacturing business is expected to reach 200 million yuan.
A company staff member said the company's current order book has exceeded 20 billion yuan, and production is scheduled for the third quarter of 2027.
