The Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone has actively responded to Jiangsu province's plan to deepen intelligent and digital transformation of the manufacturing industry, encouraging enterprises to apply for the recognition as 2025 provincial advanced-level smart factories recently.
In the intelligent equipment manufacturing workshop of the China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Jingjiang Heavy Industries Co, a newly introduced high-precision fiber laser cutting machine, featuring an intelligent control system, can automate the generation of intricate graphic cutting paths. It has boosted efficiency by over 50 percent compared to traditional methods.
The company is set to introduce more automation equipment including autonomous robots, automatic large box girder flipping mechanisms, as well as automatic sorting and stacking systems for plates.
It will seize the opportunities of applying for the recognition as a provincial advanced-level smart factory, continuously nurturing new drivers for high-quality development by integrating digital technology with the real economy.
In addition to CRCC Jingjiang, the headquarters of the ETDZ is actively assisting 18 other enterprises, including Jingjiang Special Steel Co Ltd and Sprint Precision Technologies (Jiangsu), in applying for smart factory designation.
Jingjiang ETDZ is committed to providing precise services, offering a free "digital portrait" to enterprises and providing on-site solutions for the application process, self-evaluation indicators, and implementation challenges. It will support and guide enterprises in their journey toward high-end, intelligent, and green transformation.
