The science and technology enterprise incubator within the Chengnan Industrial Park of Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone has been aligned with industry development trends and focused on sectors such as new materials, new energy, and high-end equipment manufacturing while attracting and incubating projects in recent years.
The "Qualia" brand, which has expanded from Shanghai and enjoys a robust global market presence, is a prime example of the park's successful incubation stories.
"For the past five years since our company was established here, we have benefited from convenience in policy support, permit processing, and technological innovation," said Zhang Weiwei, deputy general manager of Jiangsu Qualia Equipment Manufacturing Co.
"This has enabled us to allocate more resources to research and production," said Zhang.
In addition, Jingjiang Xiyin Technology Co within the park targets the additive manufacturing of precision medical equipment, aiming to widely apply the "3D-printed biomimetic bone" technology in the medical field. It is currently in the stage of transforming research findings into practical applications.
Song Qi, deputy general manager of Chengnan Industrial Park's science and technology enterprise incubator, said that since 2021, the park has nurtured over 60 small and medium-sized enterprises. It has also organized eight to 10 training sessions annually within the incubator to assist enterprises in quickly integrating into the park's industrial ecosystem.
From its inception to the end of 2024, the incubator has achieved sales of 1.82 billion yuan ($250.59 million) and tax revenue of over 90 million yuan.
