The Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone (JETDZ) in Jingjiang, a city in East China's Jiangsu province, is witnessing strong growth with the steady development of strategic projects, significantly contributing to the local economy.
A key player in this advancement is the Tsingshan (Jingjiang) Stainless Steel Deep Processing Industrial Park, which is pivotal to the expansion of the stainless-steel processing chain towards higher value-added segments. The high-end metal materials industry is the main industrial cluster that Jingjiang is currently striving to foster.
Within the park, the Tsingshan High-End Stainless-Steel Medium and Thick Plate Processing Project, with an investment of 1 billion yuan ($140 million), is enhancing Tsingshan Holding Group's business ecosystem. This project is poised to meet the increasing demand for medium and thick plates in the shipbuilding and automotive sectors, aiming for a full production value of 2 billion yuan annually.

Located next to this project is the Qingyuan High-End Stainless Steel Fasteners Project, with a 506-million-yuan investment. It is set to produce high-end fasteners for industries like shipbuilding and renewable energy. Expected to begin operating by next June, it promises an annual output value of 500 million yuan.
The Huadong 400 Series Stainless Steel Manufacturing Project, strategically located near major distribution hubs, is another key development. With a 500-million-yuan investment, it targets a 1.5-billion-yuan annual output upon reaching full capacity. It is expected to begin trial production by the end of this year.
Moving forward, the development zone is committed to stepping up project promotion efforts and guiding stainless steel processing companies to strengthen industrial collaboration with local equipment manufacturers, thereby creating a more comprehensive industrial ecosystem.
