The Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission has announced the lists of provincial major projects and provincial key private investment industrial projects for 2026.
Five projects from the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, were included in the former list and three in the latter.
Of those, three major projects and one private investment industrial project came from the zone's headquarters.
The first to make the cut is the Taizhou New Times New Energy Ship Project, with the floor areas of Phase I and Phase II reaching 370,000 square meters and 248,000 sq m, respectively.
This will see the construction of intelligent manufacturing workshops, intelligent processing centers for pipe fittings, a 110,000-volt substation, and other workshops and auxiliary buildings.
It will also purchase 4,760 sets of equipment including intelligent processes and large intelligent gantry cranes, as well as build a new dock and wharf.
Two other major projects on the first list are the key mooring equipment and integrated system for deep-sea large floating bodies, operated by Asian Star Anchor Chain, and the green, low-carbon, and smart upgrading and renovation project of the Yangtze River Port Terminal in Jingjiang.

The key private investment industrial project to come from the headquarters is the integrated large-scale die-casting mold for agricultural machinery and new energy, which is invested by Shunda Mould Technology.
It is mainly engaged in the intelligent manufacturing of laser weed-removing robots and high-magnesium alloy new materials, with the aim of establishing an industrial base integrating research and development, manufacturing, and sales.
