The Phase II Bimetallic Composite Pipe Production Project invested in and operated by Jiangsu Dejing Pipeline System Technology began construction on Jan 28.
The company settled in the Qingshan (Jingjiang) Stainless Steel Deep Processing Industrial Park, located in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, in 2023.
The first phase of the 100,000-metric-ton high-quality metal products project has already been successfully put into operation.
The Phase II project will focus on the research and development of corrosion-resistant, high-strength, and lightweight bimetallic composite pipe series products. It will accurately connect with the urgent demand for special pipes in traditional industries such as shipbuilding and petrochemicals, as well as in strategic emerging industries such as new energy, aerospace, and marine equipment, accelerating the race for new high-end metal materials.
With an investment of 500 million yuan ($71.94 million), the Phase II project is expected to produce 50,000 tons of bimetallic composite pipes, fittings, accessories, and stainless steel pipes each year.
