The research, development and manufacturing project of core process components for semiconductors, operated by Sprint Precision Technologies (Jiangsu), broke ground on March 18.
Located in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, the company is involved in the development and production of key precision components for semiconductor equipment, focusing on semiconductor etching and thin film deposition equipment.

It is one of the few suppliers that has achieved mass production of key semiconductor components for advanced processes of 7nm and below in China. The company has also become an important partner for leading Chinese integrated circuit high-end process equipment enterprises.
With an investment of 800 million yuan, the new project will focus on promoting the construction of three core areas: the expansion of metal devices in advanced semiconductor processes, the development and production of non-metallic materials and devices in advanced semiconductor processes, and the R&D of ceramic electrostatic suction cups for semiconductor equipment.
