As the largest bridge steel structure production base under China Railway Construction Corp, China Railway Construction Bridge Engineering Bureau Group Jingjiang Heavy Industry, located in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, has been heavily involved in bridge heavy steel processing and manufacturing this year.
In recent years, the company has been involved in the construction of several major national bridges, undertaking more than 10 large-scale bridge steel structure manufacturing projects.

Since the start of this year, the company has won multiple engineering and equipment manufacturing projects, with a contract amount exceeding 300 million yuan ($44.15 million) — getting the year off to strong start.
The company is accelerating its digital transformation, connecting major platforms of intelligent design, fine planning, digital manufacturing, and safety management, and forming a comprehensive collaborative network.
Focusing on the manufacture of steel structures and bridge intelligent equipment for bridges, the company is optimizing its production processes and transforming through digitalization.
As a prime example, it has been upgrading the equipment in its factory and building intelligent production lines. This results in 92 percent of processes being automated, the production efficiency increasing by 15 percent, and product quality improving by 5 percent.
