Under the traction of tugboats, two 8,400-TEU dual fuel powered container ships sailed out of the newly built No 4 dock of New Times Shipbuilding, located in Jingjiang, Jiangsu province, on June 26, successfully achieving the goal of launching the ship.

The ships were ordered by Singapore's Eastern Pacific Shipping (EPS), with a total length of 260 meters, a width of 45.6 m, a depth of 24.7 m, and a designed draft of 12.5 m.

The ships boast high loading efficiency and excellent energy efficiency, which will promote the green transformation of international shipping.

During the construction phase, all departments at New Times Shipbuilding collaborated effectively to streamline production processes and minimize the construction timeline.

At present, the Jingjiang company has sufficient orders on hand, with production plans scheduled until 2029. Its products are trending towards high-end, large-scale, and batch production, with green ships accounting for nearly 60 percent of orders on hand.
