A batch of 513 heavy-duty trucks has been shipped to Tanzania from the Yingli Port Terminal in the Jingjiang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Jingjiang, Jiangsu province.

The trucks include 493 tractor trucks and 20 dump trucks, all manufactured by China National Heavy Duty Truck Group. The vehicles will support cross-border logistics, highway infrastructure development, and mining transport in Tanzania.

In recent years, the zone has promoted the intelligent, green, and professional upgrading of ports along the Yangtze River, guiding the transformation of port cargo types from traditional bulk cargo such as coal and wood to high value-added categories such as environmental protection equipment and whole vehicles.

As an important traditional bulk cargo terminal in the zone, Yingli is working to cultivate the fields of heavy and high value-added equipment, expanding its business scope to engineering vehicles, steel structural components, and environmental protection equipment.

To ensure efficient delivery, the zone coordinated with customs, transportation and other departments to open a dedicated green channel for the export of complete vehicles, reducing the waiting period for inspection, storage and transportation.
