On March 17, Taixing, a county-level city administered by Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province, held an investment promotion conference on high-quality development in Beijing, which served as an important platform to explore cooperation opportunities.
A cooperative agreement between the Taixing government and the China Biotech Fermentation Industry Association in Beijing was signed during the conference.
In addition, several economic development zones in Taixing signed six talent collaborative agreements with Tsinghua University, China Agricultural University, and other research teams.

In total, agreements on 17 industrial projects, with an investment of 15.75 billion yuan ($2.29 billion), were also signed, with industries Taixing has placed great emphasis on included, such as fine chemicals and new materials, biomedicine, new medical devices, as well as equipment manufacturing.
