Production is now in full swing at the Donchamp (Jiangsu) Materials Technology Co Ltd – located in the Taixing Economic Development Zone, Jiangsu province – which has set an ambitious target of reaching 500 million yuan ($72.52 million) in sales this year.

Donchamp Materials is a domestic supplier of largest acrylic sheets covering research, production and sales.
Its products now supply a variety of markets, ranging from rail links and scientific instruments to aquariums and various medical fields. The company has worked on several major projects, such as the British Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo in 2010 and another project to provide large plexiglass spheres for the Institute of High Energy Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Early this year, Donchamp planned to invest 200 million yuan in an optical acrylic sheet production plant, with the annual output value expected to reach 50,000 tons. The goal is to establish a highly automatic acrylic production line that is not dependent on any imported components.
Despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Donchamp's sales reached 405 million yuan in 2022. It has received ample orders since it resumed work this year, up 30 percent year-on-year.
