The Jintai Grain and Oil Storage Project, a 500-million-yuan facility, is under construction and expected to begin trial operations by the end of 2026, offering annual turnover capacity of 1.2 million metric tons of soybean meals, 1.5 million tons of agricultural products and 300,000 cubic meters of edible oil.
The Binjiang General Terminal, a specialized facility for grain and vegetable oil loading, unloading and transshipment operations, currently maintains an average monthly throughput of about 400,000 tons.
The Taixing Port Group plans to invest 200 million yuan this year to upgrade the terminal's berths. The renovation will add bulk cargo export functions to Berth No 1 and convert Berth No 2 into a general-purpose berth for bulk cargo and vegetable oil, as well as install new conveyor corridors and belt conveyors. Construction is scheduled to begin in the third quarter.
The Binjiang Grain Logistics Industrial Park currently hosts 18 warehousing, grain and oil processing, and logistics enterprises, which generated 23.75 billion yuan in invoices in 2025.
The park is set to attract investment in grain trade, cold-chain storage and supply chain finance, positioning itself as a regional grain and oil distribution hub in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.
