The chemical logistics cluster in the Taixing Economic Development Zone of Taixing, in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, was recently honored as a provincial demonstration area for the promotion of the modern service industry.
It is the first professional chemical industry cluster in the province and the only service industry base in northern Jiangsu that has been awarded both the provincial service industry cluster and provincial key logistics base titles.
The cluster is focused on building a comprehensive logistics service platform, a bonded logistics center, a global chemical product trading center, and an industry-research-development base for chemicals.
During the 14th Five-Year Plan period (2021-25), Jiangsu province is aiming to cultivate 300 modern service industry high-quality development cluster demonstration areas, 300 leading companies that help with the high-quality development of the modern service industry, and 100 models for the integration of the modern manufacturing and service industries.
