The latest statistics have shown that the Taixing Economic Development Zone – located in Taixing city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has performed well in advancing the construction of its projects.
In the first half of 2023, the zone began construction of six new projects worth over 100 million yuan ($13.84 million) each – including three projects each worth over $30 million or over 500 million yuan each.
During the period, there were 10 newly completed projects worth over 100 million yuan each. Moreover, of these, six were worth over 500 million yuan each.
In recent years, the zone has extended industrial directions from chemicals to new materials, pharmaceuticals, daily chemicals and non-chemicals.
What's more, it's formed industrial clusters that operate in such areas as chemical new materials, new energy, biopharmaceuticals, oil food processing and high-end equipment manufacturing.
