Vigorously expanding company Taixing Sunke Chemicals Co Ltd, located in the Taixing Economic Development Zone – in Taixing city, East China's Jiangsu province – is focused on the production of acrylic acid products.
Having settled in the zone in 2013, the company is funded by French group Arkema SA and its main products are 480,000 metric tons per year of acrylic acid and 180,000 tons per year of butyl acrylate.
Relying on the parent group's global research and development center and the R&D center in Changshu city, Jiangsu, Sunke has committed itself to expanding the performance of acrylic acid and n-butyl acrylate products, as well as developing new downstream applications.
In December 2020, Sunke carried out a 160,000-ton per year of acrylic acid and supporting public engineering transformation project – aiming to further improve the environmental emergency response capabilities of acrylic acid production equipment.
The renovation project was completed in June 2021 and then went into trial operations.
